Prep Technician – Perrys Vauxhall Rotherham

Perrys is one of the UK’s largest car dealership groups, having served customers since 1908, with over 50 branches nationwide. We are an official franchised dealer for many of the UK’s most popular car and commercial vehicle brands, including Ford, Kia, Mazda, and Vauxhall.
Prep Technician Duties:
•Work alongside experienced Vehicle Technicians to learn and perform vehicle service, maintenance, and repair
• Conduct safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance, and minor repairs as directed
• Replenish supplies as requested by technicians or the service manager
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
• Attend training classes and departmental meetings
• Adapt confidently to the fast-paced environment and high standards of this main dealership
Prep Technician Requirements:
• Desire to become a Vehicle Technician; NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification
• Interest in the motor trade and vehicles
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
• A driving licence is required upon full qualification; therefore, you should be in the process of obtaining your licence
