Prep Technician Duties:
- Work alongside experienced Vehicle Technicians to learn and perform vehicle service, maintenance, and repair
- Conduct safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance, and minor repairs as directed
- Replenish supplies as requested by technicians or the service manager
- Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
- Attend training classes and departmental meetings
- Adapt confidently to the fast-paced environment and high standards of this main dealership
Prep Technician Requirements:
- Desire to become a Vehicle Technician; NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification
- Interest in the motor trade and vehicles
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- A driving licence is required upon full qualification; therefore, you should be in the process of obtaining your licence
