Working pattern: Part time. Due to the increasing number of children attending our afterschool wraparound care, we are seeking an Extended Schools Assistant, providing supervision and a snack to children aged 7-11 years old. The position is for 12.75 hours per week, term time only, working Monday to Thursday 3:15 pm – 6:00 pm and Friday 3:15 pm – 5:00 pm. This is for five evenings per week.

Contract type: Permanent.

Further information about the job:

  • The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Supervising children and ensuring their safety at all times.
  • Setting up activities for children to optionally take part in and engaging with children in aspects of play and conversation.
  • Preparing and clearing away food.
  • The ideal candidate would hold a Food Hygiene certificate or be willing to undertake.
