The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.

Due to the increasing number of children attending our afterschool wraparound care, we are seeking an Extended Schools Assistant, providing supervision and a snack to children aged 7 - 11 years old. The position is for 4.5 hours per week, term time only, working Mondays from 3:15pm - 6:00pm and Fridays from 3:15-5:00pm. This is for two evenings per week, with the opportunity for more hours as sickness or holiday cover.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising children and ensuring their safety at all times.
  • Setting up activities for children to optionally take part in and engaging with children in aspects of play and conversation.
  • Preparing and clearing away food. The ideal candidate would hold a Food Hygiene certificate or be willing to undertake.
