We are looking for a Wholesale Planner to join our team at our Rivenhall End office. In this role, the job holder will be responsible for managing the flow of goods into the Company to meet Sales, Margin, and Stock targets.
Responsibilities:
- Own the process for seasonal buys and for making recommendations for replenishment purchases.
- Ensure each replenishment programme is satisfying forecast demand, reporting on monthly performance to management team and merchandising.
- Review monthly OTB to manage intake in line with budgets, reporting any variances and actions to be taken.
- End to end order ownership, reviewing order at risk reports, highlighting to teams where intake does not meet demand and making recommendations to ensure sales forecasts are met.
- Work closely with Purchasing and sourcing teams to ensure deliveries are on time, making any needed call outs to the Management Team for any air requests.
- Work with account managers to review customer weekly sales performance and make recommendations for replenishment into accounts where appropriate.
- Review excess and obsolete stock, making recommendations to liquidate non go-forward inventory.
- Provide merchandising teams with 'sell in' reports and attend lessons learnt meetings as required.
- Attend brand conferences and account meetings as and when required.
Qualifications (Key Technical Skills):
- Substantial work experience in a retail/wholesale/planning & buying focused role, ideally with a Sport or Fashion brand.
- Highly numerate and analytical with a pro-active approach and problem solver mind-set.
- Experienced in OTB management and forecasting.
- Effective use of Google and advanced Excel skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create high quality, clear communication and presentations.
- Experience working with teams across multiple locations and regions.

- Highly organised and able to prioritise, plan and manage a demanding and ever changing workload.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good team player and comfortable working on their own.
- Skilled at working with multiple, different level stakeholders and able to build strong partnerships and relationships.
- Comfortable with an 'always learning' approach. Always open to new ideas and fresh challenges.
- Passion for learning and developing new systems and processes including AI.
- Ability to work quickly, accurately and effectively under pressure.
Please note: Use of a car required due to Rivenhall End, Essex, office location.
Salary: £42-£44,000 per year
