We’re seeking a dynamic individual to join our client’s team as a full-time Outsourcing Accounts Manager or Director. This role offers the opportunity to take charge of a diverse portfolio of SME general practice clients, overseeing their outsourcing needs. Your Responsibilities: Manage a full portfolio of SME clients, overseeing outsourcing requirements. Proactively contribute to fee development and actively participate in networking and BD events. Supervise and review the team’s bookkeeping services, management accounts, and VAT services. Demonstrate strong IT skills with the ability to adapt to in-house systems. Client Base: The clientele spans various industries, including manufacturers, professional service firms, IT developers, property developers, hospitality businesses, and not-for-profit entities. Personal Attributes: Efficiently control your portfolio, from staff planning to WIP management and billing. Cultivate and strengthen client relationships, both existing and new. Showcase commercial awareness in fee development. Serve as the primary point of contact for client queries within your portfolio. Demonstrate proactive awareness of current legislation and compliance standards. Team Collaboration: Delegate tasks effectively and provide mentorship to the team. Offer constructive feedback to junior and senior team members. Manage the team, ensuring high work standards and progress monitoring. Skills and Experience: Personal Skills: Confident and articulate communicator. Previous experience in an accountancy practice is essential. Professional and well-presented. Patience in training colleagues. Your Experience: ACA/ACCA qualified with a minimum of 5 years of UK practice background to a supervisory level. Previous management experience of a UK team with 3 or more staff and a portfolio value of at least £300k. Commercial and proactive approach to client development.
