An opportunity has arisen to join a leading global healthcare company as a Pharmacy Business Development Representative within our Branded Consumer Healthcare division.
Your region will cover the South East but will be heavily focused within South & East London.
Scope of the Role
This Sales role will report into the UK Field Sales Manager.
You will be primarily focused on driving sales and gaining distribution of our established OTC products within independent pharmacies, to achieve the desired growth and profitability.
In addition to sales we believe in store pharmacy training is key to recommendations so cyclical targets are also set to educate healthcare professionals.
The Territory: Postcode areas include but are not limited to: BN,CR,CT,DA,E,IG,KT,ME,RH,SE,SW,TN
In this role you will be responsible for:

Development and implementation of territory business plan to grow the business

Maintaining & growing existing business by utilising excellent account management skills

Detailing OTC products to pharmacists as well as other HCPs within the pharmacy either individually or in groups

Training of pharmacy staff to drive recommendation of company products

Driving instore visibility through placement of agreed point of sale materials

Proven sales ideally within healthcare environment or FMCG OR at least 3 years experience in a Community Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Local Authority setting.

Ability to work individually and as part of a team

Ability to build strong relationships with customers

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organisational skills including the ability to manage own diary to maximise potential on territory

Excellent interpersonal skills

Full UK clean driving license
Desirable:

Graduate level or equivalent professional qualification

Knowledge of NHS/UK Pharmacy Frameworks

ABPI qualification
