Overview
As a Project Engineer at Perrigo, you lead capital projects from concept through handover, ensuring scope, budget, schedule, and safety compliance. You’ll coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and interface with global stakeholders to deliver reliable facilities and processes. You’ll support validation, quality decisions, and CAPA actions, driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities
- Lead capital projects from planning to handover, managing scope, budget, and resources
- Coordinate multifunctional internal and external teams and stakeholders
- Report progress, risks, and opportunities to key executives and central functions
- Maintain budget trackers and forecast spend with Finance to inform Global Engineering
- Process orders for capital projects and support equipment validation activities
- Prepare technical reports to support quality and operations decisions
- Assist with Quality Event/CAPA investigations and corrective actions for facilities equipment
- Troubleshoot operational and design issues related to delivered projects
- Demonstrate Perrigo core behaviors and take ownership to deliver projects
- Undertake other duties to support the business
Key requirements
- Degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Building Services)
- Experience managing engineering projects
- Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Recognised project management certification (preferred)
- Experience with industrial building services (preferred)
- Experience in a cGMP environment (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including MS Project
