Process Subject Matter Expert

  • Achieve and maintain expert process and equipment knowledge within a specific area of manufacturing.

Process Design And Optimisation

  • Identify opportunities for process optimisation.
  • Design process changes to realise the identified opportunities.
  • Conduct engineering change management activities to assess proposed process changes.
  • Contribute to preliminary financial analysis of improvements to quantify benefit.
  • Evaluate potential improvements to ensure the most beneficial are prioritized.
  • Oversee implementation of changes.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure processes meet EHS, Quality and other regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct process and equipment assessments to identify risks and implement corrective actions.

Production Support

  • Work with Maintenance, Production, Quality and Capital Project teams to design, implement and maintain production equipment and systems.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.

Continuous Improvement

  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Documentation

  • Contribute to the Engineering Documentation/Drawing management system.
  • Contribute to the development of SOPs, validation protocols and user requirement specification.
  • Write technical reports.

Experience Required

  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline required.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Process Engineering related role within a manufacturing environment required.
  • Experience working in an oral solid dose pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience with process optimisation required.
  • Experience writing technical reports required.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry preferred.
  • Experience with industrial building services preferred.
  • Experience working in a cGMP environment preferred.
