Process Subject Matter Expert
- Achieve and maintain expert process and equipment knowledge within a specific area of manufacturing.
Process Design And Optimisation
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation.
- Design process changes to realise the identified opportunities.
- Conduct engineering change management activities to assess proposed process changes.
- Contribute to preliminary financial analysis of improvements to quantify benefit.
- Evaluate potential improvements to ensure the most beneficial are prioritized.
- Oversee implementation of changes.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure processes meet EHS, Quality and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct process and equipment assessments to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
Production Support
- Work with Maintenance, Production, Quality and Capital Project teams to design, implement and maintain production equipment and systems.
- Investigate and troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Documentation
- Contribute to the Engineering Documentation/Drawing management system.
- Contribute to the development of SOPs, validation protocols and user requirement specification.
- Write technical reports.
Experience Required
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline required.
- 3+ years of experience in a Process Engineering related role within a manufacturing environment required.
- Experience working in an oral solid dose pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience with process optimisation required.
- Experience writing technical reports required.
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry preferred.
- Experience with industrial building services preferred.
- Experience working in a cGMP environment preferred.
