Our Projects division is responsible for the installation and commissioning of air conditioning and ventilation systems across a variety of commercial and industrial settings.
Role Overview
Due to ongoing expansion, we are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join our growing projects team. This is a mobile role covering the Northwest region, requiring travel to client sites to carry out installations and commissioning of air conditioning systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission VRF/VRV air conditioning systems from major manufacturers, including Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba, Daikin, and Samsung.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate installations.
- Carry out pipework installation, brazing, and pressure testing.
- Install ductwork, ventilation, and associated controls where necessary.
- Ensure all installations meet industry regulations and company standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
- Provide a high standard of customer service and maintain professional client relationships.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in installing VRF/VRV air conditioning systems.
- Strong understanding of air conditioning and ventilation system components and installation methods.
- Experience with refrigeration, heat pumps, and ventilation systems is highly advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation schematics.
- Competence in brazing, pipework, and pressure testing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence (essential for the mobile nature of the role).
