About the role: We are now hiring a Head of Engineering to be responsible for the regional engineering management for the Bottling & Blending sites in Europe. This includes Capex leadership within that region, ensuring the effective management of top spend projects, overseeing a regional pool of team members, and maintaining robust regional Capex management. You will collaborate closely with Brand Unit's VPs of Manufacturing, European Manufacturing Directors and Factory Managers as well as other cross-functional leaders from Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement and R&D.

What you will do:

  • Strategic Capex Portfolio Management for the European bottling & blending sites: Collaborate with senior management to shape strategic Capex portfolio decisions across Europe. Ensure alignment of Capex initiatives with overall business strategy and objectives. Prepare and submit CAPEX business case requests to the CAPEX Implementation Committee for projects up to 5m€, and to the Group Strategic CAPEX committee for projects above 5m€. Administer new projects, track progress, and monitor costs of ongoing projects. Ensure effective project execution and delivery within the region.
  • Europe Bottling and Blending Engineering & Capex Leadership: Team Management: Manage a regional pool of engineering resources. Building Capabilities: Create a capable pool of local project leads for various competencies required (e.g., manufacturing equipment, blending, operational technology, civil engineering). Build CAPEX 5-10 years masterplans for strategic sites. Governance / Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to the Global Engineering Director and European Manufacturing Directors on project status, progress, and any issues or risks.

Your skills and background:

  • A track record of leading, developing and supporting engineering teams, with the ability to develop and deliver long-term engineering plans.
  • An engineering qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience delivering large-scale capital projects and working collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Good commercial awareness and financial understanding.
