The Warehouse Operator will carry out the full range of warehousing and operations tasks to enable new spirit to be processed into mature blended spirit.

What you will do:

  • Cask Handling: Fill and dispatch, set up, monitor and close down cask filling process. Receipt casked spirit and store in warehousing, remove casks from warehousing and receive and disgorge filled casks to meet blending requirements and vatting supply. Control empty casks to meet inventory requirements.
  • Warehouse Operations: Consolidate part filled tiers to maximise warehouse utilisation and carry out stock checking and leak hunting. Carry out re-gauging to update cask content information.
  • Process & Data: Operate computerised or manual control systems to efficiently control the operational process and throughout the process record and retrieve data when required.

Your skills and background:

  • Can demonstrate the ability to develop new skills and train others.
  • Are PC literate and understand and can contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Are committed to consumer and customer focus.
  • Able to operate within and have a good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and other statutory requirements.
  • Able to travel across other sites when required and hold a UK driving licence.
