This position is based at Chivas Brothers, the Pernod Ricard business dedicated to Scotch whisky. Its award-winning portfolio features some of the world’s most revered single malt and blended Scotch whisky brands.
Your new role
The position is based in our Blythswood Square office, Glasgow and hybrid or remote working is available. You will draft, review and negotiate a wide range of technology and commercial contracts (SaaS, cloud, software licensing, IT services, outsourcing). As part of a busy legal team, you will be working autonomously with stakeholders. You will support procurement activities, including RFx processes, supplier selection, and contract award negotiations. You will provide legal support on operational matters (procurement, supply chain, supplier disputes) and help resolve contractual issues. You will work with our in-house experts to advise on data protection and cybersecurity matters. You will work with our in-house experts to support AI-related topics.
Who you’ll be working with
You will work with the Global Operations & Procurement Legal team, who are based in Glasgow, together with a number of global locations. You will partner with global stakeholders (Tech, Procurement, Legal) and contribute to regulatory monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your blend of talent

- You are a qualified solicitor in Scots or English law.
- You have a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in commercial and technology law, with strong exposure to IT contracts, SaaS and data protection.
- You have solid experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in an international environment.
- You are comfortable working with cross-functional and global stakeholders, building strong relationships across teams.
- You are comfortable working alone on matters, whilst being aware when escalation is required.
- You are fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
- You are curious, agile, and genuinely interested in technology, digital transformation and innovation.
- You are organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- You are business-oriented, pragmatic, and able to balance legal risk with operational needs.
