Your unique contribution includes:

  • Engaging with internal resources, strategic vendors and business stakeholders when escalating investigations or when a higher level of expertise is required.
  • Serving as the expertise for the EDI and Middleware and closely collaborating with the EDI Product Owner on vision and strategy.
  • Taking end-to-end ownership in the full lifecycle management of the EDI projects, leading them from scoping and design through build, testing, deployment and documentation.
  • Independently managing project timelines, risks, and stakeholder communications for assigned integration workstreams.
  • Ensuring the platform is designed to be properly scalable, robust, efficient, secure, and reliable in accordance with relevant principles, policies, patterns, and standards.
  • Engaging with trading partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders to manage EDI onboarding, change requests, and escalations.
  • Collaborating with Tech and business teams to define integration requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.

Your blend of talent should include:

  • Proven experience in middleware engineering with a strong focus on EDI Implementation, Operation, and Maintenance.
  • Familiarity with EDI standards, integration patterns, protocols such as EDIFACT, XML, AS2.
  • Understanding of cloud architecture components, network virtualization, cloud security and automation.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business, IT architecture, and external partners.
  • Good understanding of programming languages and security standards related to API security, such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub.
  • Familiarity with tools like Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and Git.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Structured, methodical, organized, and proactive (self-starter).
  • Experience in working and delivering in the Scrum / Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent English language skills (both verbal and written).
  • Availability for travelling 10%+ of time.
