Your new team: This position sits in our Chivas Brothers business. At Chivas Brothers, our 1,600-strong team across 27 sites is committed to upholding the heritage of Scotch and ensuring its sustainable future, as well as opening it up to new audiences across the globe.
The PR & Events Communication Manager drives the creation and global rollout of innovative and impactful PR campaigns that elevate brand visibility and consistency across markets. This role builds and nurtures an international PR network, collaborates closely with agencies, develops strategic PR assets and guidelines, and ensures performance through KPI-driven assessments, while supporting strategic brand initiatives and coordinating budgets.
The main responsibilities of this role will be:
- Participate in the conception and execution of global PR strategies that enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Ensure campaigns are innovative, aligned with brand values, and deliver measurable results across key markets.
- Build and maintain international PR network.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with international media, influencers, journalists, and key opinion leaders to maximize brand coverage and storytelling opportunities worldwide.
- Collaborate closely with PR & Events agencies.
- Work hand-in-hand with external agencies to align on creative concepts, event activations, press materials, and timelines, ensuring consistent messaging and flawless execution across all initiatives.
- Close collaboration and integration with marketing teams.
- Collaborate closely with brand marketing team to ensure 360 integrated campaigns, providing always on strategic counsel on earned communications and assets.
- Develop innovative & relevant PR tools/assets.
- Create and adapt press kits, media releases, digital assets, storytelling content, and visual materials tailored to different markets and audiences to support global communication goals.
- Lead creation of guidelines for markets rollout to ensure consistency.
- Define and implement global PR guidelines, toolkits, and best practices, ensuring coherent brand representation and message alignment across all local markets and teams.
- Assess each campaign through KPIs that ladder back up brand objectives.
- Monitor, analyze, and report campaign performance based on defined KPIs (media coverage, engagement, ROI, sentiment, etc.) to identify successes, learnings, and areas for improvement.
- Support Senior PR & Event Manager on key strategic brands.
- Partner with the Senior PR & Events Manager in developing and executing communication strategies for priority brands, contributing creative ideas and ensuring timely coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Budget coordination.
- Support in managing PR/events budgets, including tracking expenses, optimizing allocations, and ensuring accurate reporting to maintain financial efficiency and transparency.
Who you’ll be working with: Internally, you’ll work closely with the brand marketing teams, the wider communications teams, as well key markets globally. Externally, your contacts will be media, influencers/content creators, agencies partners and brand partners.

- Are a seasoned consumer PR & communications expert (via agency or in-house) with proven experience of managing successful global PR & brand communications campaigns.
- Have strong expertise in event management experience and the ability to effectively plan and execute high-profile media events.
- Excellent networking skills and media relations and a wider understanding of the global media landscape, with knowledge of how to land earned conversation across the full earned ecosystem through impactful storytelling.
- Exceptional stakeholder management with the ability to influence and interface effectively and professionally with other departments and company directors/stakeholders.
- Highly organised with the ability to work autonomously, prioritise busy workload and thrive under pressure.
- A strategic thinker and highly creative mind, with strong writing and presentation skills.
- Have a passion for and/or knowledge of the drinks industry/culture/modern luxury.
