This role sits in Pernod Ricard’s The Absolut Group (TAG) business. Joining TAG means having 1000+ colleagues based across the world who are responsible for the production, packaging development, innovation and strategic marketing of an extensive range of premium spirits brands.

You will report within the Crystal FP&A team, which is responsible for financial planning, analysis and business partnering across our spirits portfolio. The team handles monthly actual reporting, rolling forecasts, budgeting processes, and provides financial insights. This role is based in London, focusing mainly on the gin and apéritifs brands.

Within the Finance portfolio team, you will be the main contact for controlling tasks regarding the London office:

  • Monthly reporting for Gins A&P, for Structure costs, journal raising and accruals, loading of quarterly forecasts, coordination with accounting and controlling teams.
  • Tracking of spend by gins marketing teams and flows of reinvoiced spend from other affiliates.
  • Updating databases and mappings for all finance tools and understanding of processes.
  • Monitoring of gins yearly process of costs of goods.
  • Management of Crystal London gins channel and financial/business insights files for gin teams.
  • Being the main point of contact for Finance for the Crystal BU in London while actively engaging in transformation initiatives.

You’ll first work on a day-to-day basis closely with your manager and coordinate regularly with the rest of the finance team. After a few months, you will be the only team member based in the London office as the finance team undergoes transformation. You’ll also work closely with Gins marketing teams on all A&P related topics.

This position could be right for you if you have:

  • B Sc/M Sc or equivalent in business and/or engineering.
  • A previous experience in finance/controlling roles in a consumer goods business.
  • Strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet and financial flows.
  • Excel/PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Previous use of ERP (Oracle JDE specifically) and Essbase a strong plus.
  • Analytical/dashboarding experience (Power BI) is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, with good communication skills.
  • Autonomy, adaptability and willingness to discover and learn on a broad range of finance topics.
  • High attention to detail.
