This position sits in our Global Travel Retail business, which includes duty-free, cruise ships & border shops around the globe. Our team is united by our shared passion for travel and our belief in its transformative power.
As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will be responsible for all aspects of the accounts payable function, including:
- Invoice Processing & Verification: Process external and inter-company supplier invoices and credits, ensuring all relevant data is correct and properly approved. Match invoices to goods receipts and process staff travel and expense claims.
- Supplier Management & Payments: Create and maintain supplier records, reconcile monthly supplier statements, and serve as the primary point of contact for supplier queries. Prepare and process payment runs for managerial approval.
- Month-End Close & Reporting: Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, support the inter-company reporting process, and prepare monthly travel and expense reports.
- Compliance, Audit & General Support: Assist in preparing documentation for audits, manage the shared Accounts Payable inbox, and undertake additional ad-hoc tasks as required.
You will work with both Finance and non-finance departments across GTR Europe and Americas BU, and communicate with external suppliers.
This position could be right for you if you have:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Experience in an accounts payable role
- Experience using ERPs (e.g. Oracle JD Edwards and SAP)
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Experience in reporting is a plus
