About the role
The Warehouse Operator will carry out the full range of warehousing and operations tasks to enable new spirit to be processed into mature blended spirit.
What you will do
- Cask handling: fill and dispatch, set up, monitor and close down cask filling processes; receive casked spirit and store in warehousing, remove casks from warehousing, receive and disgorge filled casks to meet blending requirements and vatting supply; control empty casks to meet inventory requirements.
- Warehouse operations: consolidate part-filled tiers to maximise warehouse utilisation, carry out stock checking and leak hunting, re-gauging to update cask content information.
- Process & data: operate computerised or manual control systems to efficiently control the operational process and record and retrieve data throughout the process when required.
