We are currently seeking a Social Sustainability & Reporting Lead to be responsible for driving the implementation of Social Sustainability priorities across the UK & Ireland, ensuring alignment with the Group’s Valuing People strategy. The role leads employee engagement on Sustainability & Responsibility (S&R), strengthens community impact, and coordinates key programmes across the Gold Business Unit. This position is also responsible for coordinating & preparing reports and acting as the central point of coordination of inputs for this across the Gold BU.
What you will do
- Social Sustainability Strategy & Governance
- Implement the appropriate elements of the Group’s Valuing People strategy for UK & Ireland, ensuring clear action plans, progress tracking and reporting.
- Serve as the Gold BU coordinator for all Social Sustainability topics (excluding DE&I), ensuring consistency, alignment, and compliance with Group standards.
- Prepare inputs for Group-level reporting, KPIs, and updates related to Social Sustainability performance.
- Employee Volunteering & Community Programmes
- Coordinate delivery of employee volunteering and community engagement programmes across UK & IRL, including strategic oversight and programme governance.
- Manage centrally supported programmes (e.g., Community Champions at Chivas Brothers) and collaborate with local teams to ensure impactful delivery.
- Monitor participation, report on outcomes, and evolve the community strategy to maximise societal value and employee engagement.
- Responsib’All Day Coordination
- Lead planning and coordination for Responsib’All Day, ensuring all UK & IRL affiliates have the guidance, tools, and templates needed for successful local implementation.
- Work closely with affiliate Communications teams on logistics, local execution, and storytelling.
- S&R SteerCo Leadership
- Coordinate inputs for the quarterly Gold BU S&R Steering Committee, including agenda creation, content preparation, follow-ups, and ensuring cross-functional alignment.
- Track progress on SteerCo actions and support governance of S&R strategic initiatives.
- Align Sustainable Ops Scope 1, 2 & 3 KPIs dashboards for steerco.
- Engagement & Communications Collaboration
- Partner closely with Gold BU Communications teams to develop internal engagement initiatives that embed S&R into employee culture.
- Support external storytelling by providing content & insights to Comms Teams that highlight the organisation’s Social & Operational Sustainability efforts and impact.
- Provide advice and guidance to UK & IRL affiliates to ensure consistent and inspiring S&R messaging.
Your skills and background
- Experience in Sustainability, Corporate Responsibility, Community Programmes, or Social Impact roles.
- Strong programme management and coordination skills, with experience working across multiple stakeholders or markets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence across diverse teams.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in reporting, KPI tracking, and governance processes.
