Your unique contribution:

  • The role of a Brand Home Host is to be a storyteller and an ambassador of the whisky distillery.
  • As a host you will create a memorable and enjoyable experience that guests will part with and share with friends; creating lifelong and committed consumers to the brand.
  • The host role will include delivering exceptional customer service through conducting distillery tours, tastings, ticket, and bottle sales whilst providing guidance in the shop.
  • Actively working to direct the vision and implementation of the brand, promoting brand advocacy to trade and public visitors.

It is an essential requirement you have your own accommodation within commutable distance to your assigned place of work; The Glenlivet Distillery. Note these are fixed term contract roles lasting 3-5 months. Please apply with a CV and cover letter, including a note of your availability for employment between June and October.

Who you’ll be working with:

  • Internally, you’ll work with Scotland and Prestige Brand Home Teams, Global Brand Ambassadors, the Visits Coordinator, the Distillery, Warehousing and Engineering teams, Blending and Marketing teams and H&S advisors.
  • Externally, your contacts will be our visitors, trade guests including HNWI, tour operators/guides and drivers, local business partners, suppliers and contractors.

  • Are able to work on your own initiative, are self-motivated and have a flexible approach to work.
  • Have the ability to work within a team to promote the interests of the Company brands and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
  • Have good working knowledge of Company brands and strategic markets.
  • Have knowledge of cash handling procedures.
  • Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Are able to work unsociable hours, including weekends.
