Permanent, 37.5 hrs/week, Mon-Fri 08:00-16:30 (flex for occasional weekends)
We are hiring a Warehouse Coordinator on behalf of our client who has a busy distribution centre in Market Drayton. They are a fast growing, design-led home furnishing brand (think next-day flat-pack & fully-assembled pieces to every UK postcode).
As our client’s warehouse is expanding they are in need of a detail-obsessed Warehouse Coordinator to keep inventory, paperwork and outbound flows flawless.
This is a full-time, site-based role reporting to the Senior Operations Manager.
Key Duties
- Update stock movements daily and investigate every line in line with company policy.
- Run picking lists and produce carrier labels for outbound orders.
- Confirm delivery notes and resolve discrepancies with internal/external contacts.
- Arrange outbound collections within warehouse operating hours.
- Complete all booking-in requests accurately.
- Submit weekly/monthly timesheets for agency and full-time staff.
- Ensure paperwork is correct and raise issues with the Ops Manager.
- Monitor consumables (pallets, boxes, tape) and reorder as required.
- Assist with staff training and deputise for the Ops Manager when absent.
- Carry out key-holder duties: open and secure the site.
- Maintain a tidy warehouse at the end of each shift.
- Assist with picking, stock-counts and any other reasonable task requested by senior management.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse coordination/stock-control experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
- Counterbalance or Reach FLT licence advantageous.
- Comfortable with some heavy lifting.
- High level of self-motivation and accountability.
- Willing to work weekends or public holidays when required.
