Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and commercially focused Pricing Coordinator with a strong background in air freight to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the commercial function by producing accurate and competitive pricing solutions that contribute to business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue air freight quotations and tariffs in response to customer inquiries.
- Support the sales team in securing new business through strategic pricing and tailored solutions.
- Liaise directly with airlines, overseas agents, and transport providers to obtain and negotiate rates.
- Maintain and update pricing databases, rate sheets, and customer-specific tariffs.
- Ensure all pricing activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders via email and telephone.
- Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to support commercial decision-making.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the air freight industry, specifically in a pricing role.
- Proven track record of contributing to new business wins through pricing strategy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant pricing or logistics systems.
- Experience working with international freight networks and global clients.
- Familiarity with Incoterms and international trade documentation.
- A customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of commercial awareness.
