The Permira private equity funds make both long-term majority (Buyout) and minority (Growth Equity) investments in four key sectors: Technology, Consumer, Healthcare, Services. The Permira credit funds support businesses with flexible financing solutions across Direct Lending, Strategic Opportunities and CLO Management.
Permira is searching for a professional, ambitious and driven events coordinator. This is a temporary role (6-month contract) and we would like the individual to start as soon as possible, based in London. This role is a great opportunity to learn about events in private equity.
Key Responsibilities- Help plan and coordinate key Permira internal and external events during a six-month period
- Manage small/medium events on an ad hoc basis
- Support on event tasks including firmwide, company and investor events
- Provide logistical and operational support
- Vendor and stakeholder communications
- Previous events experience in an international setting
- An organised and self-motivated individual, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills; with the ability to build, develop and maintain supportive and constructive working relationships
- Ability to operate both autonomously and as part of a wider collaborative team
- Ability to work to strict deadlines, in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working within an international environment which will include cross-office collaboration
- Act with integrity, honesty and discretion
