The Opportunity
Were seeking a bright and ambitious graduate to join as aGraduate Trainee. This is a unique opportunity to build a career that bridges the traditional world of accounting with the cutting-edge field of digital assets. You'll be supported through a training contract to obtain the ICAEW ACA qualification, while gaining hands-on experience across audit, financial reporting, and cryptocurrency accounting.
What Youll Be Doing
Youll work closely with experienced professionals and exciting clients, gaining exposure to both core accountancy work and emerging challenges in digital finance. Key areas of responsibility include:
- Assisting in audits for blockchain and digital asset clients, from planning through to completion.
- Preparing financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS, with a focus on digital asset accounting.
- Navigating the complexities of crypto transactions, including fair value measurement, proof-of-reserves, and evolving regulations.
- Supporting tax calculations and compliance, particularly around crypto asset taxation.
- Building relationships with clients, gaining insight into how blockchain businesses operate.
- Advancing through the ACA qualification with comprehensive support, training, and mentorship.
