Permatop Roofing Ltd is seeking an experienced Flat Roofer for a full-time, on-site position based in Central Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of flat roofing systems, with work predominantly focused on built-up felt roofing systems. Experience in liquid plastics, single ply membranes, hot melt, or mastic asphalt would be highly advantageous. The role will also involve:
- Installing and upgrading insulation systems
- Carrying out associated carpentry works
- Waterproofing and detailing
- Inspecting existing roofs and diagnosing defects
- Completing repair and maintenance works
- Working safely at height in line with company and site safety procedures
- Ensuring all completed work meets Permatop Roofing Ltd’s high quality standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience installing and repairing flat roofing systems, including waterproofing
- Competence in carpentry and insulation works related to flat roofing
- Confident working at height with strict adherence to health & safety regulations
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual work in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Relevant roofing or construction qualifications, certifications, or training (CSCS, NVQs, manufacturer training, etc.) are desirable
- A Driving Licence would be required
