As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Technical Administrator to join our Technical Hub team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong administrative skills, and would like to develop their technical knowledge within the construction industry.

About the Technical Administrator role:

Supporting the Technical Department, you will play an important role in ensuring the accurate preparation, coordination and management of technical information for customers, contractors and internal teams. Working closely with colleagues across Sales, Technical Services and Laboratory functions, you will help deliver high-quality technical documentation and ensure requests are responded to efficiently and professionally. Full training will be provided on specialist systems and software, including U-value calculations.

As our Technical Administrator you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and maintaining technical documents, specifications and technical data sheets.
  • Producing U-value calculations to support project requirements (full training provided).
  • Maintaining technical databases, product information and system documentation.
  • Assisting with technical submittals and project-specific information requests.
  • Coordinating technical information between internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Monitoring technical inboxes and directing enquiries appropriately.
  • Maintaining accurate digital and physical filing systems.
  • Supporting the wider Technical Team with day-to-day administrative and project-related tasks.

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys working with accuracy and attention to detail. You will ideally have:

  • A minimum of three GCSEs (Grade 4/C or above), including Mathematics and a Science subject.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
  • A professional, customer-focused approach.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Experience in a technical administration, construction, architectural technology or building-related environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
