We’re undergoing recruitment for Production Operatives for our prestigious client in the Newtown area. Successful candidates will play a vital role in manufacturing and packaging products. This may involve repetitive work, standing for long periods of time and ensuring high quality of products.

- £12.60 per hour
- Pitman shifts: (Working 5 days Wk/1 & 2 Days Wk/2 rotating)
- £13.86 per hour
- 06:00 - 18:00
Main roles and responsibilities:
- Adhere to production schedules to meet targets and deadlines.
- Inspect products for consistency, quality, and labelling accuracy.
- Report and address any discrepancies or defects in raw materials or finished goods.
- Conduct basic tests to ensure product safety and quality standards are met.
- Assemble and label packaging materials according to specifications.
- Box, palletise, and prepare products for distribution.
- Follow strict hygiene protocols to maintain high standards.
- Clean and sanitise equipment, work areas, and tools as per safety standards.
- Comply with Health and Safety regulations, using personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth production.
- Assist in troubleshooting machinery and escalating maintenance issues.
- Monitor stock levels of packaging materials.
- Assist in receiving and storing supplies in designated areas.
Skills and qualities:
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
