The Role
The role of a Researcher is to identify, assess, approach and select candidates.
Work with the Consultant to identify appropriate target firms and construct the search strategy to be undertaken
Continually expand, update and improve the existing candidate pool through proactive research into target firms
Utilise in-house CRM, LinkedIn, external databases, social media, sourcing calls and the internet to generate suitable candidates and market intelligence for each assignment
Actively head-hunt relevant candidates, conducting initial telephone interviews with interested candidates
Assess and qualify those with the right skills and ensure fit for interview by the Consultant
Provide email feedback to Consultants with details of candidates who are interested, outlining their relevant experience and motivations
With every approach made, promote our clients reputation through effective candidate handling which consistently promotes, protects and extends their reputation. This includes standing down candidates in a manner ensuring future approaches will be welcomed and valued.
About You
- Must have at least 18 months agency recruitment experience (coming from a retained recruitment background within a professional sector would be advantageous)
- Methodical and structured, with excellent attention to detail and quality
- Communicates effectively (written and verbal), with a confident phone manner
- Intellectually bright, curious, learns quickly and retains knowledge, demonstrates a willingness to learn from others
- Relocation opportunities with offices globally
- A clear progression path within the Research Team or the opportunity to develop within other divisions/ roles.
