Manchester - Senior Recruitment Consultant, Warm Desk
Permanent People are partnering with a well-established recruitment business that’s looking to grow its experienced team based in Manchester (M40). With four billing consultants and two support staff in the Northwest team, they’re now on the lookout for a seasoned recruiter who can add real value from day one.
You will be taking over an existing, warm desk, which has already generated a healthy level of billings this year!

The Role
Based in Manchester, the team are a chilled-out bunch who take their work seriously – but not themselves. They focus on quality delivery, strong numbers, and good laughs along the way. No fluff, just experienced recruiters doing what they do best.
About You
This isn’t a trainee role. We’re after someone who knows the ropes and is ready to get stuck in:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in 360 recruitment is preferred, though strong billers with less experience who can prove job stability will also be considered.
- Background in Construction or Civil Engineering, ideally in white collar
- Ideally looking for recruiters with experience placing perm and freelance
- A self-starter who can hit the ground running
- Full-time office-based – this role isn’t suited to hybrid/home working
- A good sense of humour and a strong drive to bill
