A well-established education recruitment agency is looking to hire a Sales Team Manager to lead and grow a high-performing team. This role combines hands-on billing with leadership responsibility, making it ideal for someone who enjoys driving revenue while mentoring and developing consultants.
You’ll take ownership of a small sales team, helping them hit targets while also building and growing your own client relationships with schools across your assigned area.
The Role- Lead, coach and develop a team of recruitment consultants
- Drive team and individual performance against KPIs and revenue targets
- Build strong relationships with schools across primary, secondary and SEN education
- Identify and win new client opportunities through sales calls and marketing activity
- Source and place candidates including teachers, teaching assistants and support staff
- Manage client relationships and negotiate charge rates and fees
- Organise interviews, trials and placements with schools
- Maintain high levels of candidate care and client service
- Work closely with internal resourcing and compliance teams to ensure smooth delivery
You will also work closely with senior leadership to help implement sales campaigns and support the continued growth of the business.
What We’re Looking For- Recruitment experience, ideally within education recruitment
- Proven ability to generate revenue and manage a desk
- Previous team leadership or mentoring experience (or someone ready to step up)
- Strong sales and relationship-building skills
- Ability to motivate, coach and inspire a team
- Target driven with a proactive and positive approach
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with service)
- Private medical care after 1 year
- Hybrid working – work from home Mondays and Fridays
- Shorter working hours during school holidays

Alternating shifts: 7:00am–4:30pm / 8:00am–5:30pm. Shorter hours during school holidays (9am–4pm).
