The team is a small, friendly and collaborative mix of people and in particular, there is a focus on retained and contingent work within Wealth and Asset Management, Family Office and PE.
Role Overview:
Our client are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Search Recruitment Consultant to join their team to build out a new areas of the business and also strengthen their excellent reputation in the market. This will be a mix of retained and contingent recruitment.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in executive search within the financial services sector, coupled with a deep understanding of the industry’s unique challenges and opportunities.
This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional relationship-building skills and a passion for identifying and placing top talent.
You will be supported by an experienced director, who will work closely with you to build your desk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the 360 executive search process, from client engagement to candidate placement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates within the financial services sector.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify and target top-tier talent.
- Utilise various sourcing methods to attract high-calibre candidates, including headhunting, networking, and leveraging industry contacts.
- Conduct detailed interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate suitability and fit.
- Provide expert advice to clients on market trends, salary benchmarks, and talent acquisition strategies.
- Negotiate offers and manage the hiring process to ensure a seamless experience for both clients and candidates.
Key Experienced Needed:
- Minimum of two years of experience in executive search recruitment, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Or, two to three years 360 recruitment experience a relevant industry such as Wealth Management, Asset Management, PE, Insurance or Family Office, and a desire and interest to move into a more niche area.
- Entrepreneurial attitude to recruitment. Drive and ambition.
- Understanding of the financial services industry, including key trends, major players, and regulatory environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-level searches simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to quickly understand client needs and market dynamics.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
