Education Recruitment Consultant – Birmingham

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE + uncapped commission (No threshold)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and expanding education recruitment business, seeking a passionate and experienced Education Recruitment Consultant to join their growing Birmingham team.

This role is focused on supplying schools across Birmingham and the surrounding areas, so experience in education recruitment is essential - specifically in registering teachers and teaching assistants and supplying staff to schools.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Must have at least 12 months experience within an Education Recruitment agency working with both schools and candidates
  • Confident, outgoing, and highly organised
  • Experienced in building strong relationships with school leaders and education staff
  • Motivated by success and financially driven
  • Resilient, competitive, and eager to be the best
  • Skilled in communication - both written and verbal
  • A problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Key responsibilities:

  • Developing new business opportunities while managing and growing existing school relationships
  • Attracting, interviewing, and registering high-quality teachers and support staff
  • Becoming an expert in the education market across the Birmingham region
  • Understanding the individual staffing needs of each school and providing tailored solutions
  • Working collaboratively with a team who value support and shared success

What’s on offer:

  • 15% - 20% uncapped commission with no threshold from day one
  • Autonomy to build your own business area - no micromanagement or rigid KPIs
  • Reduced flexible hours during school holidays
  • Competitive starting salary of £30,000 - £40,000, dependent on experience
  • Working hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm
  • Dedicated in-house compliance officer to support you
