About the role

Futures have an exciting opportunity for a SHE Manager on behalf of a leading, global, billion £ food manufacturer who is well-known in the market for their great tasting products! So for this role, we are looking for someone ambitious who is looking to further progress in their career!

Your Responsibilities:

  • Set the strategic framework for the managing Health, Safety and Environment standards
  • Develop, review and monitor SHE objectives
  • Make recommendations, propose options and develop implementation plans to ensure that the site maintains compliance in all areas of SHE
  • Communicate to and influence the senior management team
  • Provide coaching, specialist advice and practical support on all SHE matters to all levels of the site
  • Keep up to date with new SHE legislation and best practice developments

What are we looking for?

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience within a HSE role in a food manufacturing environment
  • NEBOSH or equivalent
  • Experience in planning and implementing projects
  • Strong interpersonal and people management, with experience influencing senior stakeholders
