We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Teacher to join a residential school in Stoke as soon as possible!

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver lessons that engage, challenge, and inspire students while meeting National Curriculum targets.
- Foster the development of literacy, numeracy, and communication skills tailored to individual student needs.
- Lead and manage teaching assistants, ensuring high standards of performance and collaboration.
- Monitor and assess student progress, implementing strategies for improvement and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with residential care staff to provide consistent care and positive outcomes for children.
Your Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
- Experience teaching primary-aged children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Strong understanding of child development, attachment, and equality and diversity principles.
- Effective communication and team leadership skills.
- Ability to create and maintain a purposeful, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
