We are seeking an experienced Head of Training, to join an innovative team in West Yorkshire! This entrepreneurial role in the creative industries has a focus on the stage and screen and involves overseeing the successful management, marketing, development, delivery and administration of a variety of exciting and dynamic training courses!

As a successful candidate, you will engage with funding bodies, customers, academia and industry partners to develop new courses and opportunities. These courses will be in a variety of different formats.

Your experience and knowledge necessary:

  • Leadership, delegation and the development of autonomous teams
  • Self-motivated, ambitious and results-orientated with an ability to thrive under pressure
  • Strong ability to manage others including motivation & discipline
  • Excellent analytical skills including producing, understanding, and interpreting data
  • Ability to prioritise, plan and organise multiple complex tasks to demanding time deadlines
  • Experience in the delivery of training and teaching environments, preferably in a creative industries setting
  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience

  • Development and delivery of new opportunities
  • Design and implementation of new processes to benefit the team and culture, whilst improving resilience, profitability, efficiency and communication
  • Training course management tasks (Planning, leading & delegation, execution, course design, maintenance and monitoring, stakeholder communication)
