Our client, an expanding engineering business, seek to appoint a Sales Executive to their sales team. The Sales Executive will have excellent written English skills, great communication skills, be very well organised and capable of running the admin for multiple concurrent projects independently, and be comfortable on the phone working pro-actively to contact existing customers to chase progress. As you become more comfortable in post the option is there to move into a Sales Manager role if you wish.
The appointed Sales Executive will need to have good commercial knowledge and will work alongside the technical team to better understand customer requirements. You don\βt need to be an engineer but you do need to understand the requirements of a technical sale and be able to understand technical info. You\βll be given free reign (within reason!) to manage your own diary and must be well organised with good overall knowledge of the sales process. You\βll be working on existing accounts and already \βopened\β new accounts but as you progress you\βll be able to target the contracts you want to work on and build the relationships you feel will best suit the business if you\βd like.
