Quality Manager needed for our client, a leading independent third party distribution business, who are investing into their large distribution centre. We are looking for someone who has experience of working in quality (ISO9001 QMS, audits and RCA/CAPA) and knows how big warehouses with hundreds of staff operate (you need to come from a warehouse / distribution / 3PL background).
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Managing QC inspectors and supporting with inspection reports where needed
- Help to manage any action / correction process needed
- Updating systems with each QC pass, failure or commercial acceptance
- Carrying out internal audits and subsequent RCA / CAPA activity
Skills and Abilities:
- Previous experience working with ISO9001 QMS
- Internal audit knowledge (an auditing qualification preferred but not essential)
- Have worked in a fast paced 3PL / Distribution / Warehouse environment
- Great communication and soft skills
