Manufacturing Futures are currently seeking a Controls Engineer looking to develop a career within the Automation sector. The role will suit an Electrical or Electronic Engineering graduate with experience within controls who is looking to further expand their skills. The Controls Engineer will be joining a friendly team with an outstanding reputation for training their staff.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Design electrical and electronic control systems for standard and bespoke automated systems using CAD software
- Programme PLCs, HMIs, Robots etc.
- Investigate and evaluate new technology
- Create BOMs
- Work on assigned projects under guidance from a mentor
- Assist with technical questions for the department
Skills and Abilities:
- A relevant engineering qualification
- Strong PLC programming skills
- Proficient with electrical AutoCAD, or similar
- Prior experience as a Controls Engineer
