Futures are working with one of the fastest growing manufacturing businesses in the area who are looking to appoint a panel wirer due to a period of continued growth. The successful Panel Wirer will need previous experience of assembling electrical and electronic related products (cables, harnesses, looms) in a manual production environment. This is a great opportunity to work within a company that is expanding, offers lots of overtime if wanted, has a great atmosphere, and looks after their staff.

  • Role: Electrical Assembler, Sub-assemblies, Soldering, Electronics, Looms, Harnesses, Cables, HV, LV, Panels
  • The role will require occasional overtime to be worked to meet production/customer delivery dates.
  • To support the electrical assembly of HV/LV cables, looms and components.
  • Manufacture a wide variety of Low and High voltage production electrical harnesses and components.
  • Liaising with seniors and engineering to develop prototype harnesses.
  • Maintaining a safe, neat work area which complies with a lean manufacturing environment.
  • Manufacture of cables and harnesses to schematic and assembly drawings.
  • Testing of manufactured harnesses; working to SOPs and test documentation whilst accurately recording information.
