Futures are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a growing engineering team covering the South of England. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer looking for a varied field-based role with outstanding earning potential. You'll receive a fully expensed company vehicle, fuel card, paid door-to-door travel, premium overtime rates, and ongoing training and support from an experienced team.
The work is well planned, carried out in clean and professional environments, and offers plenty of variety across installation, commissioning, service, and fault-finding activities.
Responsibilities:- Install, commission, and service specialist electrical equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults on customer equipment.
- Carry out electrical testing, wiring, and commissioning activities within live environments.
- Conduct site surveys and provide technical support ahead of installations.
- Complete preventative maintenance and reactive service visits.
- Produce service documentation and reports following site visits.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation, Maintenance, or a related discipline.
- 17th or 18th Edition qualification.
- Previous experience in a field service, installation, maintenance, or commissioning role.
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
- Comfortable travelling regularly to customer sites.
- Full UK driving licence.
