We're looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join a major distribution operation at an exciting stage of its development. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment, enjoys being close to the operation, and can combine strong leadership with hands-on quality management.
As Quality Manager you'll take ownership of the site's quality function, leading a team of quality Inspectors while working closely with operational teams to drive standards, improve processes, and embed a culture of continuous improvement. The business is investing heavily in its people, processes, and operational excellence, making this an excellent opportunity to influence meaningful change.

Roles & Responsibilities:- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Quality Inspectors.
- Champion quality standards across the distribution operation.
- Spend time within the warehouse identifying trends, investigating issues, and supporting operational teams.
- Maintain and continuously improve Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) processes.
- Plan and conduct internal audits, ensuring compliance with company and customer requirements.
- Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective & Preventative Actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues effectively.
- Lead internal ISO9001 audits.
- Use data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance operational quality.
- Previous experience within a distribution, logistics, 3PL, or large-scale warehousing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, compliance, and auditing processes.
- Prior experience leading internal audits and a good understanding of ISO9001.
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Proven track record of driving quality improvements and implementing corrective actions.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with a practical, hands-on approach.
- Experience leading, mentoring, and developing quality teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
