We are currently recruiting for an experienced Paint Spraying Technician to join a well-established manufacturing business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail who takes pride in producing high-quality finishes on manufactured components.
Working as part of the production team, you will be responsible for preparing, spraying, and finishing a variety of products to customer specifications while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities - Paint Spraying Technician
- Prepare components for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
- Apply paint and coatings using conventional, HVLP, or air-assisted spray equipment.
- Mix paints and coatings accurately to manufacturer specifications.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.
- Carry out touch-up work and rectify any coating defects where required.
- Maintain spray booths, guns, pumps, and associated equipment.
- Monitor paint usage and minimise waste.
- Follow production schedules to meet daily output targets.
- Complete quality inspection records and production documentation.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Keep the work area clean, organised, and compliant with housekeeping standards.
- Work collaboratively with production, quality, and engineering teams.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer, Industrial Paint Sprayer, or Paint Spraying Technician within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Experience using spray painting equipment and finishing systems.
- Strong understanding of surface preparation techniques.
- Ability to identify and correct paint defects.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexible approach to overtime and shift work where required
