We are recruiting on behalf of an established organisation operating within the rail sector, who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware, delivery-focused Project Manager with previous experience working within the rail industry to take ownership of projects from initial planning through to successful completion.
Project Manager - The Role
- Managing multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Managing rail projects from contract award through to completion.
- Developing and maintaining project programmes, budgets and delivery plans.
- Coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Managing project risks, issues, variations and commercial performance.
- Monitoring progress against agreed milestones and taking corrective action where required.
- Ensuring projects are delivered in line with relevant rail industry, safety and quality requirements.
- Providing clear project updates to senior management and customers.
