We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in a production or engineering environment who takes pride in maintaining high quality standards and ensuring products meet customer and industry specifications. You'll play a key role in inspecting components throughout the manufacturing process, identifying non-conformances, and working closely with production teams to maintain quality and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured components. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Use a wide range of precision measuring equipment to verify component dimensions and tolerances. Record inspection results accurately and maintain quality documentation. Identify, report, and investigate non-conforming products in accordance with company procedures. Support root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent repeat quality issues. Work closely with production, engineering, and management teams to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved. Ensure all measuring equipment is handled correctly and report any calibration concerns. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe inspection area. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and manufacturing efficiency. About You Previous experience as a Quality Inspector, Mechanical Inspector, or Quality Technician within manufacturing. A strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and dimensional inspection. Experience using a variety of precision measuring instruments Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection. The confidence to challenge quality concerns and stop production where necessary
