Electrical Supervisor – Manufacturing

Salary: Circa £48,000 + enhanced call-out payments
Monday to Friday (Days) | 1 in 4 weeks on call

The Role

As Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 4 Maintenance Electrical Engineers, while remaining actively involved in day-to-day maintenance activities. This is a split role, combining technical hands‑on work with people management and coordination.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and supporting a team of Electrical Maintenance Engineers
• Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Allocating work, setting priorities, and ensuring maintenance tasks are completed safely and efficiently
• Supporting continuous improvement and site development projects
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety and site standards
• Participating in the on-call rota (1 in 4 weeks)

About You

To be successful in this role, you\’ll ideally have:

• A strong background in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Previous supervisory or team‑lead experience (or ready to step up)
• Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
• A hands‑on, proactive approach with strong communication skills
