We are looking for a Site Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical and Mechanical bias to support the maintenance and reliability of power distribution assets. The successful applicant will have experience working in a suitable engineering sector and be comfortable carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities in live operational environments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on power distribution equipment
- Diagnose faults and support repairs to ensure continuity of supply
- Conduct inspections, testing, and condition monitoring activities
- Ensure all maintenance works are completed safely and in line with relevant standards
- Complete maintenance records, reports, and site documentation
- Liaise with site teams, supervisors, and contractors to coordinate works
- Support continuous improvement of maintenance processes and site performance
Qualifications & Skills:
- Electrical and Mechanical engineering background
- Experience working within power distribution or a closely related sector
- Valid UK driving licence
- Valid ECS card
- Proven experience carrying out maintenance activities on electrical infrastructure
- Strong awareness of health, safety, and compliance requirements
- Experience working in operational or live environments
- Understanding of UK electrical regulations and maintenance standards
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
