We are looking for a Site Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical and Mechanical bias to support the maintenance and reliability of power distribution assets. The successful applicant will have experience working in a suitable engineering sector and be comfortable carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities in live operational environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on power distribution equipment
  • Diagnose faults and support repairs to ensure continuity of supply
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and condition monitoring activities
  • Ensure all maintenance works are completed safely and in line with relevant standards
  • Complete maintenance records, reports, and site documentation
  • Liaise with site teams, supervisors, and contractors to coordinate works
  • Support continuous improvement of maintenance processes and site performance

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Electrical and Mechanical engineering background
  • Experience working within power distribution or a closely related sector
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Valid ECS card
  • Proven experience carrying out maintenance activities on electrical infrastructure
  • Strong awareness of health, safety, and compliance requirements
  • Experience working in operational or live environments
  • Understanding of UK electrical regulations and maintenance standards
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
