About the Role
We’re looking for an ambitious Inside Sales Representative who is ready for the next step in their sales career. This is not an entry‑level or graduate role — it’s ideal for someone moving into their second sales position who wants to accelerate their development in a fast‑growing business. You’ll be based full‑time in our Manchester office, working closely alongside our technical support team to rapidly build product knowledge. Your primary focus will be following up on inbound leads generated through events, hosted webinars, and marketing campaigns. When inbound activity is lighter, you’ll proactively generate new opportunities through targeted outreach to prospects identified by the business—as well as through your own creative sourcing methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up promptly on leads generated from events, exhibitions, and webinars.
- Qualify inbound interest and determine fit, urgency, and buying intent.
- Book discovery calls, demos, or meetings for the senior sales team.
- Proactively reach out to target accounts using phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline when inbound lead volume is low.
- Research prospects and understand their challenges to tailor your outreach.
- Collaborate with the technical support team to develop strong product knowledge.
- Provide clear feedback to marketing on lead quality, messaging effectiveness, and campaign performance.
- Work closely with sales leadership to refine targeting, outreach sequences, and qualification criteria.
General Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate CRM records and activity logs.
- Meet and exceed monthly activity and lead‑generation targets.
- Represent the company professionally at all times in conversations, emails, and online interactions.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of inside sales or SDR experience (essential).
- A track record of hitting outreach, meeting‑generation, or pipeline targets.
- Ambitious, self‑motivated, and eager to develop into a higher‑value sales role.
- Strong communication skills — both written and verbal.
- Confident speaking with prospects on the phone and via video calls.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, office‑based environment.
- No prior security sector experience required, but an interest in learning the industry is a plus.
- Ability to travel independently for work‑related activities when required.
What We Offer
- Full in‑office support and coaching to accelerate career development.
- Exposure to both technical and commercial teams.
- A clear, organic growth pathway into field sales roles.
- Competitive salary and commission structure.
- A collaborative, energetic, and supportive team environment.
