Finance Assistant Full Time 9-6pm Monday to Friday fully office based – Watford PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Assist and support the Finance department in the lead up to our financial year end and preparing for the FY2025 Audit by reconciling the AP and AR ledgers along with various balance sheet reconciliations. DUTIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES * Reconciling supplier accounts * Reconciliation of historical AP statements * Administration of the AP mailbox, ensuring invoices are posted and supplier requests are actioned * Maintenance of supplier accounts with up to date information (Address, bank details, contact details) * Assisting with automating supplier payments within the system * Assisting with AR reconciliations * Reconciliation of other balance sheet accounts * Reconciliation the lease Schedule * * SKILLS REQUIRED * Previous experience with complex reconciliations * A can do attitude * Proficient excel knowledge * Good communication skills * Accounting Experience with a focus on AP & AR * Balance sheet reconciliation experience * GENERAL REQUIREMENTS * To take responsibility for your own health and safety as necessary * To comply with the company’s disciplinary and grievance procedure as required * To comply with the company’s policies and procedures at all times * The post holder will be required to undertake such other duties as may be required within the grade and competence of the post.
