Operations Billings Assistant - Full time - Office based in N18 Edmonton Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm - Salary up to 33,000 per annum.

You will be working alongside the Business Operations department and dealing with general billing and financial administration duties. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced working environment where you will be required to work towards deadlines and SLA's.

At a high level, the role will involve:

  • Daily clear-down and validation of all operational transactions across waste management, site clearance, haulage, and aggregates
  • Ensuring all job data is complete and accurate (waste types, EWC codes, weights, vehicle details, WTNs, order numbers)
  • Carrying out pre-invoicing checks to ensure billing aligns with agreed client rates and contractual terms
  • Producing daily production and financial reports (revenue, tonnage, transport movements, recycling performance)
  • Supporting client reporting requirements and resolving invoice queries
  • Maintaining a strong audit trail and supporting compliance with duty of care requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • Advanced Excel skills (essential)
  • Experience working with high-volume transactional data
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Good communication skills and ability to work across teams
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams and OneDrive

The role will be dealing with a broad client base, including Tier 1 contractors, local authorities, and private customers, so commercial awareness and accuracy are key for this role.
