Location: South East (Head Office), Enfield (EN3 7SX)

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5.30pm (1 hour lunch break). Alternate Saturdays 8.00am - 12.00pm

We have a great opportunity for an individual with the ability to deliver fantastic customer service to join our highly successful branch as an Internal Sales Support, where you will build relationships with our customers and the internal sales team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound telephone calls and emailed enquiries from customers.
  • Provide quotations and process orders, with the use of Microsoft Office and Sage.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Work with teams across the business, managing your time to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Other administrative tasks as required by business need.

Essential Skills and Qualities:

  • Good communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a proactive, helpful approach.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to react quickly to ever changing demands.
  • Self-motivated person with a positive attitude, as well as a team player.

Desired Skills and Qualities:

  • Previous experience working in a busy sales office for a builders merchant, plant hire company, hire shop or distributor.
  • Good knowledge of contractors tools, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), road safety signs, electrical equipment, catering supplies and janitorial products is an advantage.
  • Experience using Sage Accounting Software or the ability to learn new systems (training on Sage would be given).
